Meet Sunny! Sunny was surrendered when her owner was no longer able to care for her. Sunny is the sweetest, easiest personality. Sunny is a gentle, friendly girl who simply wants to be loved and included. She enjoys walks, does well on a leash, is great with kids, and did wonderfully in a kennel. She’s also a quiet girl who rarely barks unless she hears an unfamiliar noise.
What makes Sunny especially sweet is how much she enjoys simply being near her person. She’s not overly clingy. she’s perfectly content relaxing in the same room, just knowing you’re there. Sunny can be protective of her food around other dogs, so she should be fed separately, which works well for her.
Her current owner is getting older and can no longer provide the daily care and attention Sunny deserves. We would love to find her a family who will give her a beautiful next chapter filled with walks, cuddles, little adventures, beach days, family outings, or simply relaxing together at home.
Sunny truly doesn’t ask for much; just love, companionship, good meals, and someone to share her life with. We are looking for a home that will continue to show her what it means to be in a loving home. Sunny is patiently waiting!
