Roha
Meet Roha, a charming girl who won over her rescuer by running straight up to a complete stranger, wagging her tail, and showing her belly. Roha’s rescuer first met Roha at a construction site while working in Saudi Arabia. Unlike the other stray dogs around, Roha was incredibly welcoming from the very first second, letting people pet her without any hesitation. At home, Roha is calm and loves being petted, even by strangers. However, when she is resting, she prefers having her own space and her own bed. She loves lying on a comfy bed or sofa and avoids the bare floor.
Roha isn’t much of a toy fan, but she is absolutely obsessed with tree branches! Whenever she finds a stray branch on a walk, her whole day is made, and she loves playing with it. While she is still a bit spooked by the sudden, loud noises of kick scooters, her foster is always able to control and calm her down. When she meets furry friends on her walks, she always wants to say a friendly hello! Roha is also a seasoned “office dog”! Her foster family runs a dog-friendly cafe, so she gets to go to “work” with them every day. She used to get a bit car-sick and anxious during car rides, but she is making amazing progress and getting better every day.
At the cafe, she is a social butterfly who loves playing with the customers’ dogs. But when things quiet down, she is perfectly content just chilling in her own cozy spot. Her foster also often takes her out to restaurants and cafes, where she behaves like an absolute angel. Even when they sit outside, she will just lie down and rest. Roha was rescued in Saudi Arabia—a completely unfamiliar and distant country to her rescuer. While every single rescue dog holds a special, cherished place in the rescuer’s heart, there is something truly extraordinary about Roha. She is a resilient soul who deserves nothing less than the most loving forever family.
Roha absolutely lives for outdoor adventures. She would thrive with an active family who is excited to take her to dog parks and join her on all of life’s journeys. She would be the perfect fit for a home that already has a friendly dog sibling to play with, or a family dedicated to letting her socialize with other furry friends and giving her a world full of wonderful, rich experiences.
