Meet Sesame! Sesame was rescued from the shelter before his time ran out. Thankfully, rescuer partners were able to get him out and into rescue where he got a full check up. Sesame, also lovingly called “Black Sesame,” is a bright, affectionate boy full of playful energy. With his slightly scruffy coat and uniquely smooth head, he has an irresistibly charming look. When you call his name, he comes running with excitement, bringing joyful energy wherever he goes. He loves gentle affection, often closing his eyes and leaning in, and he adapts quickly to new environments—settling in comfortably within just a day after rescue.
He is extremely social with other dogs and truly comes alive during playtime. Being around other dogs boosts his confidence and happiness, so a home with a playful canine companion would be ideal for him. Sesame is also very active and needs at least two walks a day, along with additional playtime to burn off his energy.
As he is still young, he will benefit from continued training, especially with potty routines and building patience when excited. With consistent guidance, exercise, and positive reinforcement, he will continue to grow into an amazing companion. Sesame’s ideal home is an active and loving environment where he can play, explore, and receive plenty of attention. He would do best with a family who enjoys engaging with him and can provide both physical activity and affection.
He can do well as an only dog, but he would especially thrive with a friendly companion. Sesame is ready to fill his future home with his bright energy and loving heart. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog. Sesame is patiently waiting for a home to call his own!
