Meet Yomi! Yomi was rescued by our rescue partners from a rooftop hoarding situation in Daejeon during the winter. A total of 21 dogs were found abandoned in freezing temperatures, surviving by huddling together on a rooftop filled with waste. What started as one dog had grown into many due to repeated breeding and neglect. After long discussions with the owner, all dogs, along with additional puppies, were safely rescued just before a heavy snowfall. Yomi is now beginning a new life away from that harsh environment.
Yomi is a bright, affectionate, and socially confident little girl with a naturally charming personality. She greets even new people with warmth and enjoys being close, often seeking gentle affection and interaction. Her sparkling eyes and soft demeanor make her instantly lovable.
She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and adapts easily to different environments. Yomi enjoys walks and would benefit from daily outdoor time to explore and build confidence. She is also very food-motivated, which makes training a fun and rewarding experience for both her and her future family.
Her ideal home would be a loving and warm environment where she can continue to build trust and share her affectionate nature. She can do well in a home with another well-adjusted dog or as the only dog receiving plenty of attention. With consistency, love, and treats, Yomi will quickly become a joyful and devoted companion.
