Meet Julia! Julia was rescued from a shelter in an extremely emaciated condition, crying out as if asking for help. Despite her condition, she immediately showed signs of having lived with people before—understanding commands and using pee pads right away. She is believed to have been abandoned after living in a home.

Since rescue, she has blossomed into a bright and affectionate dog, gaining weight and learning to trust again. Julia is an incredibly affectionate and people-oriented dog who loves being close to her person. She will happily jump into your lap, follow you around, and seek comfort by your side. She is active but not overly hyper, and adapts well to her guardian’s lifestyle as long as she gets regular walks. She is intelligent and enjoys interaction, making her a great companion for someone who wants to build a strong bond through daily routines and communication.

Julia prefers people over other dogs and would thrive best as the only dog in the home where she can receive full attention. Because she forms strong attachments, consistent structure and clear boundaries will help her feel secure and prevent potential separation anxiety or guarding behaviors. Julia is a truly special, loving dog who is ready to give her whole heart to her forever family. Julia is patiently waiting!
