Meet Louie! 🐾
Louie is the sweetest little guy with a big personality and the loyal heart you’d expect from a Pekingese. He’s a mellow, low-energy companion who loves relaxing at home with his people—but he’ll still proudly keep an eye (and ear!) out for any suspicious sounds. His short daily walks are one of his favorite things, and they usually tire him out enough for a cozy rest afterward.
Louie is also a smart cookie! He has the perfect amount of food motivation—just enough to enjoy training without being a food thief. He already knows sit, shake, down, roll over, and wait, and he loves showing off his skills.
Most of the time Louie is a quiet, easygoing pup, but when he gets really excited he’ll “talk” and let out the funniest little squeals and happy sounds. His foster finds it adorable, and it’s all part of his charming personality!
Louie forms a very deep bond with his people and loves being close to them. Because of that, he’s looking for a home where someone is around most of the time, especially while he’s settling in. The good news is he makes an excellent office buddy and travels nicely in his carrier, so he’s happy to tag along on adventures or workdays. He’s also dog-friendly and enjoys meeting new canine pals along the way.
