Meet Duke! Duke is a loyal, intelligent, and protective Jindo who thrives in a structured, predictable environment. Although he is loyal to the family’s children, he needs a home without unknown children running through the house or frequent visitors, where routines are consistent and calm. His ideal match would be an experienced dog owner – perhaps a single woman or a man familiar with wary or anxious dogs, who understands his nature and can provide steady leadership. While Duke can be cautious around men, he has done very well with his foster dad in a kid‑free home. As a true pack animal, he flourishes when he has other dogs to learn from and follow, naturally taking on a more submissive role. A ranch or spacious property with canine companions would be perfect for him, but even without wide open space, regular walks or bike rides bring out his devotion. Duke is patiently waiting for his forever home!
