Tilly
Meet Tilly! On March 2025, as wildfires rapidly spread across Gyeongbuk, our rescue partners rushed to the frontlines. Amid the chaos, we found Tilly—trapped by her leash and unable to escape the flames. She had survived severe heat and smoke exposure, suffering burns and trauma, but was rescued just in time. Today, Tilly has fully recovered and is healthy, ready to bring love and calm to her forever family.
Tilly is a gentle, affectionate soul with a calm demeanor. Even when the world around her is loud and chaotic, she stays composed, often finding a quiet corner to rest. Her sweet, clear-eyed gaze melts hearts and shows her loving nature. Tilly adores attention and affection. She’ll come running when you call her name, tilt her head, and ask for pets or cuddles. She’s highly cooperative with grooming, nail trims, and other care routines, making her a truly loving companion.
Tilly has mostly interacted with medium to large dogs and gets along well with them. She’s independent and enjoys her own space, so she would adapt well to a home without other dogs but can also enjoy calm interactions with dog friends. Tilly has a moderate energy level and would benefit from 2 short walks per day, gradually increasing activity as her heartworm recovery allows. She’s comfortable on a leash and responds well to positive reinforcement. She prefers outdoor elimination but adapts well to indoor pads when needed. She loves treats and rests calmly in her crate.
Tilly has completed heartworm treatment. Minor mammary inflammation has been monitored and is expected to resolve with regular care. She may experience motion sickness during long trips, so breaks and gentle care are recommended. Tilly would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can receive gentle affection and care. She doesn’t require another dog for companionship and would do well in a quieter household that can offer steady love and attention. With her calm and sweet temperament, Tilly will fill any home with warmth and serenity. Tilly is patiently waiting!
