Meet Shine! Shine is an adorable Jindo-mix puppy who was rescued along with her siblings. Shine and her siblings were born to a stray dog that a rescuer has been caring for. When Shine was about 3 months old, she and her sister, Nala were caught by a factory owner and kept on short chain leashes, with nothing but an iron drum as their shelter. Thankfully, the owner agreed to let the rescuer step in to save them, so they could have the chance to find loving forever homes.
Shine is wonderful with other dogs—big or small, young or old—and loves to play with them. She would likely adjust more quickly and easily in a home that already has a stable dog companion. With people, she just needs a little time to warm up. Once she feels safe, she blossoms into a sweet, affectionate, and loyal pup.

Like any curious puppy, she enjoys sniffing around and noticing birds, squirrels, and dogs, but she is not stubborn or difficult to redirect. • She is good with kids. Shine is currently fostered in a home with two energetic 7-year-old boys and has also met their friends and siblings. She has always been calm and gentle with them, with zero signs of aggression. • She is good in the car – both in the doggy carseat or crate.
