Hi everyone! My name is Tiana (as in the Disney princess) and I’m a 3 year-old Papillon mix with a beautiful coat of red and white hair along with eyes that match.  I weigh almost 10 pounds, making me the perfect size!

I was found as a stray in Bay Point CA, roaming the streets and hungry with no home.  A Good Samaritan took me to the pet hospital and from there, I landed in the Martinez Animal shelter.   Fortunately, my foster mom heard about me, went to the shelter to check me out, and fell in love.  I’m definitely a princess and love being treated like one.

Currently, I’m living with my foster parents and their senior dog, as well as other dogs they may be dog sitting.  I get along great with all the dogs, regardless of their size.  I play with the toughest of them, holding my own in a wrestling match.  I’m learning to like toys but lap surfing and walks are what I love.  I am a bit shy with new humans but soon warm up to them.

I’m an expert crate sleeper, but do well sleeping on the bed also.  Potty training went well, I followed the lead of the resident dog and soon learned where to do my business outside.  Since I’m a well-behaved dog, my foster parents trust me to be out of my crate while they’re away.

I’m seeking a loving and caring family that is looking for a lovable snuggle bug.  Kids are good, as are other dogs.  Give me lots of walks, lots of playtime, and a lap to lay on and I’ll be your best friend.

If you’re convinced that you’re the perfect family for me, I kindly request that you complete an application and share a bit about yourselves.  Do a good job on that application; my foster parents are committed to my well-being and will be very selective in choosing potential adopters. Perhaps we’ll meet and find a forever home together!
