Brief Bio: Meet June! June is a beautiful border collie girl who was abandoned by her owners when they no longer had time for her. Luckily a rescuer was able to take her into rescue. June is a active and sweet girl who loves to be around people and other dogs. June is very easy to train and thrives on learning new tricks. June knows the seven common commands (sit, place, here, heal, down, off/leave it. The “stay” command has been incorporated with down, sit and place so she knows not to go anywhere else until we say “ok/free.” She will also wait to eat her food until we tell her “go ahead.” At night time, when we tell her “It’s time for bed” she goes into her crate.)
June loves water and enjoys swimming, running and playing fetch. June is hardly barks or whines and is overall a easy going girl. June is a herding breed so we are ideally looking for homes that has experience with this breed because she can sometimes try to herd dogs or little kids. June can be a little shy at first but opens up quickly, she is best with submissive dogs as she doesn’t tolerate being pushed around too much. June would be amazing in a active home that will take her on many adventures. We are looking for a home that understands the breed and can commit the time needed for her. June is patiently waiting!
