UPDATE: Edith has been adopted!
“Hi Melody! She’s doing great! Better every day. There have been some challenges, for sure, but totally worth it and she is beautiful. We’re in the process of figuring out her food. She won’t eat just straight kibble. We used rice and that was good (but she’d pick out the rice and just eat that!). We’re now going with wet food that has gravy and mixing it with dry.
She is amazing and we love her so much already! She’s a fantastic companion and we’re doing our best to bond and let her know she can trust us. It seems to be working! We think she’s happy here and we adore her. We’ll figure all the problems out soon enough and have plenty of fun along the way! She’s more confident and loving and playful each day.
The photos show her mostly lying around, I realize, because that’s when it’s easiest to get a shot of her! She’s already following us around as she’s checking things out. She’s wonderful and we are so happy with her! I’ve seen on the site that you do some kind of collage when an animal is adopted. The attached photos are yours if you need them!
Thank you for all you and your team did to make this happen. I appreciate your patience with all my questions. -Todd”

Brief Bio: Meet Edith! Edith was abandoned at the kill shelter when her owners no longer wanted her. Poor Edith sat at the shelter waiting for them to come back for them but they never did. Edith was rescued when her time ran out when one of our rescue partners saw how happy and sweet she was. Edith is an easy going girl who loves to play and be around people. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Edith is patiently waiting!
