UPDATE: Cobina has been adopted!
“Melody, It’s been a week, so I’d like to give you an update. She is adjusting so quickly, it’s hard to believe that she was in another country several days ago. This dog is amazing! Please send her foster family in Taiwan my heartfelt thanks, as this pup was clearly loved, socialized, and taken on many walks. She is great on a leash, gets along with my cat, approaches strangers with curiosity, and is great with dogs of varying temperaments (even when one got aggressive). Because she is already socialized, we are able to focus on puppy problems (chewing, potty training) and basic obedience rather than difficult emotional struggles.
She comes to work and goes to the dog park everyday, where she has met dozens of new people and animals already. Everyone falls in love with her at first sight, and is further endeared by her silly and loving personality. I can’t wait to take her hiking, camping, teach her how to follow a bike, and take her on all my adventures (once it cools down… it was 100 degrees today!).
Please finalize the adoption. I’ll send some pictures along soon. If you’re ever in the Walnut Creek area, I can usually be found in Sports Basement during the week with Cobina if you’d like to say hi. Thanks for everything you do for the dogs.”

Brief Bio: Meet Cobina! Cobina was rescued along with her litter mates when they were found as strays together hungry without shelter. A rescue partner was able to gather the puppies and get them to the vet where they got a full check up. Cobina is a sweet girl who loves to play and enjoys being around people. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Cobina is patiently waiting!
