UPDATE: Cooper has been adopted!
“Wendy – Wanted to let you know that Cooper is settling in just fine. We went for a 5 mile hike yesterday. Had an absolute blast. I have a “hiking leash” that lets him have a little more range but still keeps him tethered to me. We just had a wonderful afternoon together – everything from the ride to the park to the walk and then getting a treat afterward and just hanging out. Thank you for all that you do. -Lawrence”

Brief Bio: Meet Cooper! Cooper is a sweet boy who was found as a stray when he was only a small puppy. Thankfully a kind rescuer was able to get him to safety and to the vet for a full check up. Cooper has since grown into a handsome boy who is sure to turn heads! Cooper is a very active and playful young dog; he carries a shepherd’s loyalty and energy. He gets along well with other dogs; he has no food aggression, and walks very well with leash. Cooper will be shy and bark at strangers at first, but food will help shorten the distance. Cooper is a very friendly dog, but due to his energetic nature, he needs a home with a good sized back yard and daily exercise. Cooper is looking for a home that is seeking an outdoorsy dog. Due to his energy and size he can be a bit too much for young children so homes with small children is not recommended. Cooper is patiently waiting for a home to call his own!
