UPDATE: Ian has been adopted!
“He is doing great! He is getting more comfortable by the minute–he loves running around our yard (always supervised) and playing with the neighbor dogs in our yard. He’s been on lots of walks and is getting more comfortable meeting people and kids. He spent almost the entire weekend outside with me and the kids. He enjoyed chasing tennis balls and rolling around in the dirt while I worked in the garden. He is exhausted now, laying at my feet. He is very attached to me. He is still a little cautious with the kids but able to interact quite well with them and the neighbor kids. He’s so sweet! And smart! Very curious about everything. We love him!”

Brief Bio: Meet Barbie! Ian is a handsome boy with a great temperament. He loves to be with people and children, and is great with dogs. Ian was rescued when he was discovered on a high-kill shelter’s euthanasia list where he was scheduled to be put down in 12 days. His hopeless eyes reached out to a young lady’s heart and he was ultimately rescued. Ian is a healthy boy who would love nothing more then a home to call his own. We are looking for a home that understands the breed and will continue to give Ian all the love and attention he deserves. Ian is patiently waiting!
