“We love our girl, but she will require some strong leadership and training and I’m already working with her. She is the smartest dog I’ve ever had, that is for sure. She already knows sit, down and shake. It only took me about 15 minutes total to teach her those commands. She is willful and a bit stubborn, but I work with her on this every day and she is also very sweet and loves us all so much. She’s very protective already and I pity any stranger trying to come in to my house or yard! She is very much formosan mountain dog in temperament, as far as everything I’ve read. I know she’s is a shepherd/fmd mix, but she’s so small, it’s hard to believe that! I forgot to send you the individual pictures, so I’ve attached them (and more). Regards, Kimberly”

Brief Bio: Meet Vesta! Vesta was found along with a group of puppies when a rescue partner was out checking on a stray pack. Vesta is a very sweet puppy who was huddled with the other puppies looking for food even at such a young age. Luckily the rescuer was able to gather all the puppies and brought them to the vet where they got a full check up. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Vesta is patiently waiting!
