Brief Bio: Ray grew up chained in a filthy small yard without any cover from rain, sun, or wet. He was not fed everyday and he was alone without attention or anyone to play with. For yearning a little love from his owner, he cried, jumped to greet his people but was smacked for that .His coat became matted and riddled with waste he couldn’t get away from. When his skin infection spread all over his body he was dumped at the pound heartlessly by his owner.
Thankfully Ray was saved by a volunteer who was deeply saddened by his story. He was taken to the vet to have his skin problems treated, he is now undergoing the treatment for Ehrlichia, a tick borne disease he was tested positive for. Once the course of treatment is finished in mid June he will be ready for the next phase of his life – finding his forever home.
Ray seemed unfazed by his past ordeal; he simply came around right away. Calm, cuddly, loving, Ray charms everyone with his sunny disposition and easy going nature. His infectious golden smile brings you great joy the second you meet him. Ray is definitely a sweet and gentle soul who will make a wonderful companion dog. He is looking for someone who will provide him safety, love and attention forever.
