Cocoa – Adopted!

UPDATE: We are happy to share that Cocoa has found her loving forever home! Cocoa is a very beautiful girl but she was also very shy and timid, thankfully she found an amazing home willing to work with her and help her overcome her fears. Cocoa is learning everyday with her new family and getting the socialization she needs. We would like to thank Kenneth and Carol for being so understanding and dedicated towards Cocoa. She is in great hands and we believe will outgrow her fears and enjoy all the wonderful things you guys are offering her. Have a great life Cocoa!

Introducing Cocoa! Cocoa is a lovely 1.5 year old chocolate Shepherd/Retriever mix. Poor Cocoa was one of the hundreds of strays that were abandoned and left homeless at the shelter. Poor girl was not even 3 months old but has already been through ordeal when she came to rescue. Cocoa has since grown into a beautiful young dog, her rounded clear eyes and her dark reddish coat make her stand out in the crowd. She is shy at first but friendly with children and people. Cocoa is playful and gets along with dogs of all sizes, she is also good with cats and will not chase. Cocoa needs a home with people who will show her patience and understanding. She likes to be handled gently and she will return you with infinite affections and love.
