No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Venice! Venice was rescued along with littermates when they were found abandoned on the streets at a very young age. Rescuers knew that if they didn’t take them in that they would not survive. Venice is a little on the skittish side due to her mistreatment when she was a stray. She is very loving but will need time to open up. Once opened up she is a cuddle bug and loves to follow you around. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Venice is patiently waiting!
"Luna (fka Venice) joined our pack the day we had her over for a sleepover on March 23. She fit in immediately and has been Sonny’s constant companion since day one (they haven’t stopped playing!). She’s a wiggly, cuddly rambunctious puppy who wins our hearts over every minute of everyday! She’s still excitable on our neighborhood walks, but when we hit the trails in our open spaces, she is blazing a trail right behind Sonny. Her energy and fun spirit have been a huge boost for Sonny’s confidence. I’ve sent off her DNA kit to Embark. I can’t wait to see her lineage. She’s a number-one-stunner, constantly getting compliments on her Super Model beauty. Even Manni, our 16-year-old dachshund loves her... and he doesn’t like anybody! Thank you, Melody and Donna, for hooking us up with our Looney Luna! We love her so much!"
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
