No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Scout! Scout was rescued along with his litter mates when they were found in a rural area huddled under a bunch of scrapes and junk. The mom of the pups did her best but they were in need of additional help due to lack of food, water and shelter. Luckily the rescuer was able to get the family out of the field and to the vet for a full check up. Scout is an adorable puppy who would love nothing more then to find a home to call his own. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Scout is patiently waiting!
"Hi Melody! It's been almost 3 weeks since we brought Alpine (Scout) home, and it feels like he's been a part of our family for a long time. He is such a great dog! Very smart and quick to learn -- he's already crate trained and mostly potty-trained. He rarely cries or barks and is as sweet as he can be. Alpine follows me around the house as I do chores and loves to snooze at my feet. He is just so happy whenever you walk into the room. He is also a very good eater and has already gained some weight since his trip from Taiwan. Alpine loves meeting other dogs and people at the park, and he can run like the wind. He's already been on a couple of short hikes with us, and lucky for me, Alpine has a great sense of direction. We are all so grateful and thrilled that he is a part of our family! Thank you, Melody, for the wonderful work that you do in matching humans with their forever pets! All the best, Stephanie"
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
