Meet Ruby! Ruby was found on the streets when she was abandoned as a puppy. Luckily a rescuer spotted her and her sweet personality and was about to get her off the streets and to the vet for a full check up. Ruby is a very sweet and lovely girl who would love nothing more then to find a home to call her own. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Ruby is patiently waiting!

ADOPTED!

"Hi Melody!!! Sorry we’ve been so quiet…  life with a dog and kids is more time consuming than just kids.  :) We are SO HAPPY to have Ruby in our lives, and we are her forever people for sure. Yes, you can close out her file and we’ll stay in touch as life continues forward as a family of five (four humans, one great dog). She has been an absolute joy.  The list of great stuff is just too long to detail, but highlights are…

  • She is amazing with other dogs — always eager to play, shows good manners in greetings, quiet and never growls or uses her voice.
  • Training is going well — our BravoPup training classes are going well, and she is coming along with Sit, Stay, Coming when called (thought that’s a more challenging one), Off (the furniture), Leave It, etc.
  • She is getting the hang of potty training, with fewer accidents in the house.  That said, she doesn’t like the rain very much and is less comfortable going potty outside in any sort of weather.
  • She is fantastic with kids, both ours and others.  She is occasionally nervous meeting other humans, but she is generally quiet and patient and friendly.  Sometimes if there’s a man in a hat or a tall man dressed in dark clothing, she’d prefer not to meet them and she moves aside or darts away.  But that’s to be expected — she’s only been here less than a month!
We are delighted to have found our forever pup!  Thanks to your fine organization with such great paperwork and communication.  We’re so glad to have worked with you. Here are some Ruby photos to enjoy…  most from our cabin in the mountains a week ago… All the best, Pamela"
