No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Pluto! Pluto was rescued along with his mom and brother when they were found dumped in a secluded field close by the woods. Plutos mom was badly injured from the cruelty of passing strangers but did her best to nurse and keep her babies alive. Luckily a rescuer was able to get them off the streets and to the vet for treatment. Pluto was able to get a clean bill of health and is now ready to find his forever home. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Pluto can be shy at first but he is a love bug and would love nothing more then to find a home to call his own. Pluto is patiently waiting!
"Walter (previously Pluto), is sweetest little pup we have ever met. We started out as Walter’s foster family but it didn’t take long for him to win all of us over, we could not imagine life without him. He is gentle, kind and just the right amount of playful yet mischievous. He’s adjusting really well to life at the Amaral home. We’ve learned to sit, stay, come, lay down and shake! We’re working diligently on potty-training and using the doggie door (the flap is still a little heavy for him to push open plus it’s scary!!) but we’ll get there soon! We love to go on long walks at the Lafayette reservoir and Mt. Diablo Park and traveling to our lake cabin where he plays in the water and runs on the sand. We are so excited and thankful to have Walter in our lives. THANK YOU Love & Second Chances!!"
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
