No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Ollie was rescued from a puppy mill where they no longer thought he was “of use”. Poor Ollie spent most of his life confined in a rusty small cage without knowing what it meant to be in a home. Although he’s had a hard start at life, Ollie is a very sweet and loving boy who thrives on new experiences. Ollie is a very goofy and clumsy boy who loves cuddles and affections from people. He loves playing with other dogs as well. Ollie, however, hates stairs and would be ideal in a home with no stairs. Because Ollie was rescued from a puppy mill he will also need consistency and patience when it comes to housebreaking. Ollie is a very healthy and energetic boy who is waiting for a home to call his own!
Hi Melody, I wanted to give you an update on Ollie and how he is settling in. He is doing great. He has met the whole neighborhood, and watched many softball and soccer games. He also goes to work with with my husband or I daily, and has meant many new friends. He is getting more and more used to the dog door, and only has occasional accidents. I want to thank you for all that your rescue organization does for dogs like Ollie. People say how lucky he is to have found a good home, but we are really the lucky ones for having him in our lives. All the Best, Jolyn Stockton
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
