No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Maxine! Maxine was rescued along with litter mates when they were found abandoned in a rural field with no food, shelter or water. Luckily a rescuer was able to spot them before anything happened and get them off the streets. Maxine along with litter mates were able to get a clean bill of health and is not ready to find a forever home. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Maxine is patiently waiting!
"Our pretty girl Mina (Maxine) has been an absolute joy to our lives! She is such a flirt! When we are at the dog park and she sees owners giving treats, she will run up, sit, and wait patiently to get one of her own! She loves her toys, playing with any size dog, and sleeping. She shakes like she is in a business meeting and is playful yet gentle. We are so grateful for Love and Second Chances. She has made our house a home!"
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
