No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Mark! Mark was abandoned on the street along with his 12 siblings. They were really young puppies when abandoned and scavenging on their own to find food. Thankfully rescuers were able to get them to safety and to the vet for a full check up. Mark is a very sweet and affectionate boy who would love to find his forever home. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Mark is patiently waiting for a home to call his own!
Bodie (formerly Mark) is such a wonderful addition to our family. When we picked him up on April 28th, he was shy and scared but after a few days, he got settled in and just knew that he was home. Bodie is a calm soul and very protective of us, as we are of him. In this short period of time, he has become a permanent part of our hearts and we don't remember a time without him! He has puppy habits (chewing on sticks, rocks and whatever he can find in our yard) but, that's the great part of this journey with him. Amazingly, he started sleeping through the night after a week and after a few accidents, he is potty trained! Thank you, Melody for connecting us with our little one. Love and Second Chances Rescue is an amazing organization!!!
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
