No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Kuma! His owners abandoned him when they decided they didn’t want him anymore. They drove to a deserted road by the countryside and tossed him out of their car, then drove off. Kuma is a very affectionate boy who would love nothing more than to find a home to call his own. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a part of their family. Kuma has since gotten a clean bill of health and is ready for his forever home. Kuma is patiently waiting!
"Hi Melody, Thanks for reaching out! Kuma is doing great. When we got him, he was wearing a cone (since he just got neutered) and startled easily at most things. Now that the cone is off, he's a happy goof ball who loves treats, going for long walks/runs, and getting showered with attention. Even though he's had a few accidents, we're working on some training. We love having him here we think he's pretty happy here too! Attached are some pictures of Kuma in our home and around San Francisco! Thanks, Kim"
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
