No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Jim! Jim was rescued along with her litter mates living underneath a freeway overpass. When rescuers found them, they were very young and not capable of finding food themselves. Rescuers were able to take them all in where they are safe and received proper medical checks. Jim is a very cute and affectionate puppy who would love nothing more than to find a forever home. We are looking for a home understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Jim is patiently waiting!
"Jim’s name is now Teddy. Teddy came into our life at the most perfect time. Teddy now has a new brother who is 4 years old also a FMD from Love and Second Chances named Zach. When Zach’s older brother crossed over the Rainbow Bridge he was very sad and lonely. So again I contacted Melody about Jim (Teddy). So now Teddy has a great life with Zach. They are best friends and all I can say is I love the FMD🐾💕. Teddy is the best puppy. He loves his yard and his temperpedic bed with his brother. Teddy also has a cat that he sleeps with. My daughter Sarah just loves him so much. All I can say is they may be called rescue dogs but they truly rescued us. Thank you Melody and all the helpers behind the scene at Love and Second Chances."
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
