No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Herman! Herman was rescued along with his litter mates when they were found left abandoned in a rural area with no food, water or shelter. Luckily for them a partner rescuer found them and was able to get them all off the streets and to the vet for a full check up. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Herman is a sweet pup who is patiently waiting for a home to call his own!
Hi Melody, Things with Herman are great. He's already a member of the family, and gets lots of attention. As you'll see from the photos, he is very comfortable in his forever home! We have taught him a few things (his name, sit, stay) - he is a super smart boy. He has met several of our friends' dogs, and he is very playful. He sleeps in his crate at night, or if we have to leave him during the day, and does fine. He is a bit nippy and loves to chew, so we are working on having him bite and chew only the toys and chew sticks we give him. We are very happy to have him with us, and thank you for rescuing him and introducing him to us! -Heather.
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
