No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Adaline! Adaline was rescued along with her siblings when they were abandoned in an empty field. They stuck by each other while looking for food and clean water. Luckily a rescuer was able to find them and bring them to the vet where they received a full check up. Adaline is a very sweet and loving pup who would love nothing more than to find a family. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Adaline is patiently waiting!
"Hi Melody, So nice to hear from you. We absolutely adore Lucy (formerly Adaline) and she is adjusting really well. Lucy is an incredible addition to our family and we had no idea how much we'd fall in love with our new puppy. When she first arrived, she was timid and shy but curious about her new environment. Since then, she has started to transform. Lucy runs up and down stairs, loves to play (mostly running in circles on the grass), and has made a new dog friend, Teddy, who she would have growled at a couple weeks ago. She still is working on her puppy socialization skills; Lucy isn't quite comfortable with strangers or other dogs just yet. We hope that with continued interaction, positive reinforcement and patience that she will continue to grow in this area. We are so happy to have Lucy and can't wait to see her blossom into her own even more than she has! - Maureen"
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
