Brief Bio: Meet Jona! Jona was born in a commercial breeding house and lived his early life in a small cage barely big enough for him to move. Poor Jona formed a classic habit exhibited by puppy mill dogs where he would walk around in circles because of confinement. Jona’s left hind leg was not properly developed and required corrective surgery after he was rescued. It took some time for Jona to get use to walking but he can jump just as high and run as fast as any of his peers. Jona has a loving nature and enjoys being around people regardless of his horrible treatment. Jona has a tiny body but he is full of energy and loves to play. Jona has an adorable mohawk that makes him stand out from the rest. His lively and pleasant personality makes it hard to believe that he was once suffering from cruelty and neglect. We are looking for a home that will continue to show this sweet boy what it means to be in a family. Jona is patiently waiting!
