UPDATE: Jemmie has found her forever home!
“Hi Melody – Apologies for the delay! Things are going well with Jemmie. She was having some separation anxiety issues early but seems to be getting better the more we work on it. I suppose it’s not that surprising given her circumstances and the huge amount of change in her life. The initial hesitation around leaving the house, going to new places, etc. seem to be gone (or at least significantly mitigated) after a few weeks, which is nice. She loves playing with other dogs and seems to be a smart/eager-to-please pup that is trainable. We’ve been taking her to training classes and, so far, she is showing progress. She’s about 17.5 pounds right now. I don’t take a lot of pictures but attached are a few I do have. Cheers, Anup”

Brief Bio: Meet Jemmie! Jemmie was rescued along with a few other puppies when they were found as strays scavenging for food. Luckily a rescuer was able to spot the puppies and get them all off the streets and to the vet for a full check up. Jemmie is a very sweet and loving girl who would love nothing more then to have a home to call her own. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Jemmie is patiently waiting!
