UPDATE: Abigail now Emmylou has found her forever home!
Good Morning Melody, We hope you are well. Thank you again for rescuing Abigail and for giving us the opportunity to provide her with a home. We have renamed her Emmylou and we love having her as part of our family. Nicole did an excellent job fostering the puppies, which has helped a lot with training and getting Emmylou acclimated to her new life.
Today Emmylou will be attending her first day of Puppy Manners class at the SPCA, and we’ll be regularly taking her to the SPCA’s puppy play sessions, as well. On Friday we took her to the vet to meet her doctor and she received a clean bill of health. We’ve also scheduled her next round of immunizations, which she’ll receive in about two weeks. Please let us know if you need anything additional from us. And thank you again for facilitating Emmylou’s adoption! Best regards, Blake & Nikki”
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
