Brief Bio: Meet Phoenix! Phoenix was found and rescued by one of our rescuers Wendy on her vacation in Taiwan. On 10/30/15 she saw a skinny dog wagging her tail eagerly seeking attention from everyone who passed by her. Phoenix was very hungry and begging for food hoping for some scrapes. Wendy approached her and could not hold back her tears when she saw the obvious abuse this poor girl had been through; 2/3 of her ears were cut off and there are big scars on her back. Regardless of what poor Phoenix went through she is still very sweet and friendly to strangers. Wendy could not leave knowing that this poor girl has been through. Thankfully they were able to get Phoenix off the streets and to the vet for a full check up. Phoenix had a lot of old wounds and recent ones as well but was able to make a full recovery and is now in foster care. Phoenix is a wonderful girl with a great temperament. She is friendly with dogs, cats, adores people and loves kids. We are looking for a home that will continue to show Phoenix what it means to be in a family. Phoenix is patiently waiting!
