UPDATE: Molly has been adopted!
“Hi Melody,
How are you? Molly runs around in my home like she’s won the lottery. She feels incredibly safe here with me, which is kind of amazing since she is pretty afraid of everyone else. From the second we met at the airport she somehow knew I was ok. I’m not sure why. I think the backyard sealed the deal. I’m sure she’s never been able to run around in her own yard like a rocket and be totally free. Yes, Molly has TOTALLY found her forever home!! I can’t believe how in love I am and it’s only been a week! Today I took her to my vet to be checked for heart worm, and parasite test and a vaccine. The test came back negative for heart worm, so I will start the prevention meds.
In my neighborhood I’ve been taking her for walks and each time we go she gets a little better. I feel like in Taiwan people were really mean to her or something, but last night about four people walked by us and she stayed and wasn’t afraid and just watched them. She’s really quite amazing. She must’ve been a street dog…right? Was she at one of those horrible shelters?
Anyway, we’ve been pretty inseparable and she seems very happy. I know I am.Thank you for all that you do in getting dogs out of Taiwan. I wish someone could help the dogs in China as well. Your organization is very organized and the people at the airport were sweethearts. I will send you pics…they’re on my phone. Feel free to check in whenever you want to.
My house is under construction right now, but when I can open the door off the kitchen into the back yard I would be open to fostering for your international or local dogs. Also the backyard is going to be landscaped, so please don’t think this is what it is. Thanks again, Jani”

Brief Bio: Meet Molly! Molly was abandoned at the shelter when her owners no longer wanted her, thankfully she was rescued before her time ran out. Molly loves to be around people and is great with both dogs and cats. We are looking for a home that will continue to show Molly what is means to be in a loving home. Molly is patiently waiting for a home to call her own!
