No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Venus! Venus is one of the many French bulldogs we rescued from puppy mills. She was used for breeding her whole life. Poor girl doesn’t know a world outside her little cage. Venus was forced to give birth to litter after litters no matter her own wellbeing. She lived a very tough life, but is finally able to get a second chance! She is ok with other dogs, but likes bigger dogs more. However, because she was under socialized, she’s unsure of other dogs. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning a dog. Venus is patiently waiting!
"Hi!! Venus now Blanche is doing well!!! We have been through some challenges but she is coming along! She loves her sister Stella very much, and they get along great! Blanche was very shy and timid at first (understandably so given her situation) but now she is really coming out of her shell! She is very vocal, now will get on the couch and allow us to per her! She has her own crate but prefers to share Stella’s! We are still working on pottying outside but we are making progress! She was 11 pounds when we got her, and as of yesterday she was 16.8lbs! We are so proud of how far she has come and love her to pieces!"
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
