Meet Trixie! Trixie was rescued from a puppy mill where she lived her whole life being used for breeding. She was so happy to be finally out, but still unsure what life outside her cage was like. Trixie is very affectionate and loves to rub her body on people like a cat! She also would use her head to nudge on your arm to get you to pet her. She follows her people around the house wherever they go and will find a place to lean on legs and feet to stay close. She ducks her head a little and will lay flat on the ground when someone raises their arm due to being likely hit in her past. Trixie is great with other dogs, she’s fostered with 2 medium and 2 small dogs and has been doing well! Only problem is she’s a little dominant with other French bulldogs. She seems to only be that way with other Frenchies. Trixie is still working on potty training and is slowly making less accidents around the house, but needs to find a home who will keep up with consistently letting her out. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Trixie is patiently waiting!
