No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Roya! Roya was found as a stray puppy alone. She was hungry and tired from looking for food in a rural area When rescuers found her, she wagged her tail and slowly approached them. Roya is very friendly and loves people and affection. She is mellow, house broken, great with dogs, kids and men. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Roya is patiently waiting!
“I adopted Roya, now named LulaBear aka Lulu, one month ago, and has adjusted to her new home wonderfully. The quiet little girl that I brought home, has grown into a feisty, playful, people and animal loving dog who always wants to be part of the fun. Lula loves walks and likes to affectionately say hi to each neighbor and their dogs on our route. She made dog friends quickly and loves play dates and car rides with them. As the day cools to evening, she enjoys sitting outside and staring at the moon, and though she loves her mud, she also loves baths and water, making clean up fun and easy. Thank you to Love and Second Chances for all you do. You give sweet loveable dogs the opportunity to find their forever home, and have a happy and healthy life.”
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
