No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Nora! Nora was rescued with her sister, Penelope, when they were found as strays and brought to a high kill shelter. The two were luckily rescued before their time was up. Nora is a very sweet girl. She’s affectionate and loves people. Nora gets along with other dogs and loves to play with them. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Nora is patiently waiting!
"Hi Melody! Athena has been an absolute joy to have around. She’s recovered quite well from the spay, although I still have her wearing the cone all day (except when she eats). We’ve been doing training for basic commands (Sit/Down/Stay/No/Come) and she’s ALMOST ready to take the training outside with more distractions. She’s a cuddler, and she loves veggies (except broccoli), and we try to give her a decent blend of kibbles, veggies and wet food.”
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
