No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Max! Max was adopted at around 6 months old to a family, but unfortunately their daughter is allergic to dogs and they had to surrender him. He is a very sweet boy and loves spending time with his people. His previous owners hope Max can find a new home who has more time to spend with him. He loves to run around and play fetch. Max enjoys being active and likes to be outdoors. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning a dog. Max is patiently waiting!
"Max joined our family in Danville at the end of March, 2020. He was cared for by a wonderful foster. The foster is a professional dog trainer and over the course of 6 months improved Max's reactivity. In our home he is a lazy couch potato, a perfect companion during this work-from-home environment. He enjoys playing in the yard and running with the kids. Max likes to explore, play fetch and take long walks. I am so grateful to this organization for rescuing Max and allowing him into the family."
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
