Meet Mac! Mac was found as a stray on a busy intersection. When he was found, his body was partly covered with asphalt tart. He was super friendly and had no trust issues at all. He literally jumped in the rescuer’s car and slept the whole ride back. Apart from being skinny and malnourished, he was healthy! He was named Mac because he’s really smart and quick in learning new things.

Mac adjusted to his new life with his foster family quickly. He especially enjoys his cat companions who he is very gentle with. Mac also loved to play with other dogs until one day he was chased and bitten by two big dogs playing in the park. This terrible experience changed Mac dramatically. He became resentful to go to any dog parks and would be aggressive and bark when seeing other dogs there. That experience traumatized him and made him scared of dog parks. However, as long as he is in an outdoor, natural setting, whether he is hiking or running, he still enjoys playing with other dogs.

Mac is friendly with people and kids. He loves cats and is super gentle and sweet with them. We prefer Mac to be the only dog in the home, or with dogs who are smaller than him. He walks well on leash and is suitable for an active family. He loves outdoor activities and daily walk. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Mac is patiently waiting for his forever home!
