No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Janice! Janice was picked up as a stray found on the side of the street, and then set to be euthanize at a high kill shelter. Luckily rescuers got her out in time and she is now learning what it’s like to live in a home. Janice is a very sweet girl! She has lots of energy and loves to run with other dogs. She absolutely loves other dogs and playing in the grass. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning a dog. Janice is patiently waiting!
"Hi Melody, Thanks for reaching out! We are having such a great time getting to know Janice and watching her come out of her shell more and more everyday. Janice is settling in great and is already best friends with our resident dog, Sprout. Janice spends most of her day napping in various locations around the house intertwined with wrestling with Sprout and snuggling up to us for pets. Janice also loves treats and working on training! She is very smart and already house trained. She has mastered sit, down, paw, high five, heel, go to bed, and stay, and is learning how to walk well on a loose leash. We have been taking her to our local dog park and she loves to run around with other dogs and protect the park from squirrels and birds. Janice is such a sweet silly girl and is already a great addition to our family. Thank you so much for rescuing her and bringing her here all the way from Korea, we love her so much!! -Becca, Maia, Sprout, & Janice"
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
