No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Golden! Golden was found that he struggled to get out of the fish farm. The owner saved him but sent him to the shelter. Golden caught a high fever and parvovirus, thankfully a rescuer came and took Golden to the vet for treatment. Luckily Golden stayed strong and was able to make it through and is now healthy and waiting for his forever home. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Golden is patiently waiting for a home to call her own!
"Hi Melody! Nick and I have absolutely LOVED having our new pup (we named him Flyer). He has been so great for us - easy going, amazingly friendly with people, children, and other dogs, loving, and a quick learner when it comes to training. Of course he struggled with some major separation anxiety but we have been patiently training and he has gotten better. We are thankful he is perfect in a car so he comes pretty much anywhere with us aside from work. He has just been the best addition and we are so lucky we found him! This was our first experience adopting a dog through Love Second Chances and it was incredible. We have had Flyer for a month now and he has been the greatest dog! He loves to go on any adventure with us, especially to the beach or to play with his new puppy friends at the park. We couldn't have asked for a more loyal, goofy, and loving companion! Thank you again! I will send another email with a couple more photos just because that's always fun :)"
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
