Brief Bio:

Meet Emily! Emily was one of our puppy mill bust case. She was used for breeding her whole life, expected to produce litters after litters. Poor girl was not in the best shape, yet forced to continually give birth. She’s a very sweet girl, but because of her under socialization she is not the best with other dogs. She can get along and tolerate bigger sized dogs, but prefers to be the only dog. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning a dog. Emily is patiently waiting!

ADOPTED!

"Hi Melody, Emmy (FKA Emily) is a very sweet girl. Since her arrival she has learned how to live in a caring/loving home with her human and Corgi roommate Paddy. She is a very happy and cuddly girl with good manners. She has been very successful in behavioral training which speaks to how smart she is. This was my first adoption experience with LSC and the international rescue. I am very impressed with your organization and how well organized you have the adoption process set up. I appreciate the extensive application process and background check so that animals are not handed over to just anyone. I have told many people about your organization and hope that they too will consider adoption from LSC. Thank you for allowing me to be one of your successful stories. Please see various pics of Emmy in her new world.  -Amy"

How to help?

If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
