No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Darlin! Darlin was rescued from a puppy mill where she was kept for breeding. Poor girl doesn’t know a world outside her kennel. She had skin issues when first rescued, but is recovering well. She still has some ways to go before her skin is cleared. This is due to the humidity and the rusted cages. Darlin is a sweet girl who very affectionate. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning a dog. She is patiently waiting!
"Hi Melody - Darlin, now Bailey, is doing amazing. The kids and I absolutely adore her as does everyone who meets her. She has become used to living in a home now and not being locked away in a cage all her days. She has put on 5 pounds since we adopted her and her legs are starting to get stronger via the walks and activity that she is now doing. We have two other dogs and she especially loves playing with our other frenchie, they love the same toys so constant tug of war going on. They also love to cuddle with eachother. I cannot say enough amazing things about Bailey, she is a true love bug and we couldn't be more in love. Thank you so much for allowing our family this opportunity! Our family is now complete with this sweet girl."
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
