No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
“Ginger (fka Candy) joined our family as a foster pup one month ago, narrowly escaping a tragic future. Our family and rescue pup Nutmeg (fka May) all fell in love, and as a birthday surprise for our 12yo son, Ginger found her forever home with us.
She is a high energy pup, with an appetite that doesn’t quit, and an uncanny ability to find loose fence posts to squeeze between (hooray for GPS!). Ginger is a smarty pants, learning her first several commands in under a week. And as much as she loves our family, I’m pretty sure that her first love is her new big sister Nutmeg. Spice Girls and BFF’s!
Thank you L&SC and Melody for adding another goofy fur ball to our family!”
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
