No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Amily! Amily was found with a litter of other puppies who were dumped on the streets. Amily was only a month old when she was found and would not have survived had she not been found. Luckily for Amily a rescuer was able to get her off the streets and to the vet for a full check up. Amily is a very sweet girl who is looking for a home to call her own. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Amily is patiently waiting!
We all love her. Her new name is Meli which kind of sounds like Amily. Meli means honey in Greek which is my background. She has totally bonded with our dog Kira and the cats are doing fine with her too. All the new photos are on my husband's phone so I can send those on soon. We took her camping with us this weekend and she did great. My phone lost charge so that is why I used his phone. I am traveling to my work meeting on Wed and Alan will drop Meli off at Gateway Thurs night so she can be spayed on Friday. She will board there over the weekend and we will pick her up on Monday. She is definitely a great fit for our family. Thank you Melody! -Alex
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
