Meet Sunny!  Sunny is an adorable and loving 6-8 month old Terrier mix from Korea, weighing in at almost 13 pounds. She, along with her mom and others, were rescued from a meat farm in Korea.  Despite her difficult past, Sunny has become a lovable, sweet pup.  She can’t get enough attention from her foster humans, flipping over for belly rubs and giving lots of kisses.  She is very cautious with some people: barking at and avoiding them.  But if she likes you and deems you a friend, you are subject to lots of snuggles, kisses, and licks.

In the short time Sunny has been here, she has learned to sit and is making great progress on her leash walking.  She is housebroken with a doggie door, sleeps through the night in her crate, and displays no separation anxiety while her foster parents are away (patiently and quietly waits for their return).

Sunny has displayed some resource guarding with her toys around other dogs.  So she will need some supervision and work on sharing if she is in a household with other dogs.

Traveling well, Sunny loves to console surf but is also comfortable riding in the back seat. She is not a big barker (unless for good reason), Sunny is usually very mellow, displaying moments of puppiness when she arises in the morning and when she wants attention.  She loves her newly discovered toys, realizing it’s OK to have fun, and is still figuring out how to share and play with them.

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Sunny is patiently waiting!
