Meet Soju! Soju is an adorable 7 year old FMD-mix. He weighs 44 lbs. Soju’s age is starting show with his grey beard, but he will still play and do zoomies like he is a puppy!  Soju is a very loving and cuddly pup who likes to spend most of the day laying on the couch or on a blanket. He will get his spurts of energy and ask to play! He loves playing with squeaky balls, destroying stuffed animals and wrestling!

Soju was raised with cats and often mimics cat-like behaviors (cleaning himself, purr-like reactions to petting). He has also lived with various dogs (full-size Husky, mini husky, GSD). He is very good a leash walking and knows the basic commands (sit, lay down, shake). Soju barks at noises that he cannot identify; however, his foster home have been practicing recall and positive reinforcement and have already seen improvement in those areas.

Soju is a loving goofball who will bounce on his tip toes when he is excited and wrap his tail around your arm when you pet him. He is in need of a new home because his previous owner unexpectedly passed away. Soju would do best in a quiet, suburban neighborhood. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Soju is patiently waiting!
