Meet Peppermint! Peppermint is a sweet, playful, energetic, happy six months old baby puppy. She loves people, food, walks, and playtime. She is still learning about her new world, so can be a little startled by things like fire hydrants and lawn-flamingos, but she is mostly confident and wants to explore. She is submissive initially with other dogs, but then is full of confidence and puppy-energy!

Peppy Puppy does well in the car and loves to go to new places. She is OK on the leash, likes to explore and will pull a little. She doesn’t chew things in the house, and is mostly house trained. (She has the doggie door figured out, but has to be reminded to use it to potty outside.)

Puppermint would do well with an active family with older kids, or younger ones who don’t mind being jumped on or nibbled a little in play. She might even love her own elementary age kid to run around and burn off energy, and then snuggle with. She would be great with another dog in the home. She has not been cat tested, but she wants to chase the chickens for fun. Probably she would want to chase a cat to play.

Peppermint Puppy is being fostered in El Sobrante. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Pepper is patiently waiting!
