Meet Hugo! Hugo is an adorable 6 months old Jindo mix. He was initially a shy dog, but he quickly came out of his shell to be a sweet, lovable, cuddly puppy. He’s quiet and mellow and will likely mature into a low energy dog. Hugo is a very polite doggie playmate to his foster home’s resident dog and is content to entertain himself by tossing a ball in the air and chasing it. He has lived with cats in the past. He’s still shy with new situations, but he’s gaining confidence everyday. He sleeps through the night in his crate and has done so from day one. Hugo is very food motivated for the right treat. He likes beef treats and chews.

Hugo is a goofy, uncoordinated sweetheart that loves to romp around in the yard and climb onto your lap to lick your face. He loves his humans and foster dog brother and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He would be a great fit for someone looking for a mellow companion.

The ideal home for Hugo would be one with a confident dog since he loves to play with his foster sibling and having another dog around helps him open up faster. He could also be a good fit for a home without a dog that’s willing to continue his puppy socialization. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Hugo is patiently waiting!
